LOST INDIVIDUAL

On the evening of June 27, 2017 Care Trak Northeast received a call from Vermont State Police and stated that a family member wearing a Care Trak Bracelet has wondered away from the residence.  The family indicated to the VSP that they last time they saw this individual was about
9:00 PM.  The Vermont State Police received the call about 10:15PM.  This individual may have dementia, but he loves to walk and can out walk a 50 year old.  So since the individual had a large head start in walking away, the Vermont State Police called the Windsor County Sheriff's Department to assist in the search.  The Vermont State Police and the Windsor County Sheriff's Department have been trained in the use of the Care Trak receiver program in locating individuals wearing a Care Trak Bracelet.  Once the locator devices were on the scene within 30 minutes the individual was located.  The Windsor County Sheriff's Department received the signal from the transmitter that the person was wearing and the Windsor County Sheriff and Vermont State Police Trooper drove right to the individual.    The family was expremely grateful to the Windsor County Sheriff's Deparmtent and the Vermont State Police for locating their family member.
